Very Useful

I really enjoy the prompts and the ability to switch up my one on one’s with my direct reports. This open the communication and connection.

Great quality, thought provoking

As advertised here folks. Great cards with thoughtful prompts. The cards are of great quality cardstock and there’s plenty to choose from. I bought two! One for me and one as a gift. They love it. It really helps you get out of the same old same old questions and prompts. I’d highly recommend.

Awesome tool for one with ones!

This is the perfect tool for me to use with direct reports who struggle to think of things to discuss during one with ones. I love how easy it is to pick out a card from a topic that is pertinent to discuss based on the colour coding. Would highly recommend this to anyone who manages people.

Positive addition to my toolkit

The Motivation themed box has provided me with some great ideas to consider when faced with feeling stagnant. Some are great reminders to pull out, like considering working somewhere physically different for a day. When you’re in the thick of it day after day sometimes these ideas fall to the wayside. I appreciate how the Motivation ideas are categorized for different themes like “social, tools or productivity”. Another winner from Unstuck Box!

Top Notch Tools

We have been using the teambuilding tools for several weeks now, and I’ve seen a greater sense of team unity, a clear focus on mission, and even an attitude of fun that wasn’t present before.
I would recommend the unstuck teambuilding tools to any team lead that wants to increase their teams overall unity, direction, and focus.

Great For All Scenarios

I've been a leader for 10+ years now and recently inherited a diverse team in terms of background, knowledge, and familiarity. I've been using these cards weekly to help bridge gaps in understanding, learn about the leader, and to really help me focus my end energies in the right place. We are at a point where my reports look forward to them because we have a good time with it. A variety of questions help you pinpoint where you want to focus on the week from getting to know the persons preferences to long-term goals.

Interesting, inventive questions

Nice prods to have in one’s pockets. Good model for communicating with kindness and clarity. These help establish psychological safety in the work place.

Good tool for new manager

These are nice quality cards to help kickstart conversations. I would like to see more content on each card, ex. follow up questions or 'when to use' guidance.

Move past the easy answers

Great for moving the conversation past the "How's things going?" questions to ones that uncover truth and more meaningful connection. Great for new and seasoned leaders alike. We've already used this to uncover new ways to support each other.

Love having a tool

I’ve purchased leadership books but struggled to incorporate them into my work. I love having a tool to incorporate. I hope in the future The Unstuck Box will have additional resources and suggestions on incorporating these tools!

Amazing Tool

I have been using these to engage my team more and they have been awesome! I love that they have a pamphlet or card with a breakdown of the color coding. I have used them in 2 interviews so far, my 1:1s, and team calls to dive in with my team. Highly recommend.

Love it!

I absolutely love the unstuck box. I purchased this for myself in five of my team leads. Every single, one of them really enjoys using them it brings up new questions and conversations that they likely wouldn’t have had without this box and it also makes it fun for the employees that are meeting with their leaders because they’re excited about the questions.

Helpful tool

Thoughtful questions that I have used to build a template for 1:1s. Convenient box that travels well from home office to campus, from my office to a conference room. So far "outside of work, how is everything?" allowed me to create a bridge with reports that wasn't there before. " Last week I asked several people "what's one single thing we could do to improve team performance?" and that seemed to focus us on a handful of tasks that we could work on. This deck is proving itself to be functional and impactful already!

Fantastic tool

I didn’t know what to expect but some of the prompts for 1 on 1’s helped spark meaningful discussion. Asking if others have feedback for me usually doesn’t deliver helpful comments, using some of the phrasing in the prompts yielded better, more actionable responses!

Great Concept

It's a great concept. I think some of the content is a bit obvious (and therefore disappointing). But many of them are helpful.
